Data shows that 72% of Black voters in Florida are registered Democrats. Yet in the 2024 election, turnout among this critical voting bloc was only 33%.

Florida has a historic opportunity to change that: with Angie Nixon running to become Florida’s first Black U.S. senator and David Jolly seeking the governorship, Black voters can play a decisive role in electing leaders who will fight for their communities and for all Floridians.

That is why the Florida Democratic Party has launched the Black Voter Action Network Phonebank Campaign. Our goal is to reach voters across the state, share what is at stake in this election, and increase turnout.

We need your help to turn Florida blue! We are phonebanking every Thursday to call voters across the state. Talk with them about the issues, encourage them to make a plan to vote, and highlight the strong records of Angie Nixon and David Jolly.
