Snowbird SWAT — the Snowbird Statewide Action Team — is a new Florida Democratic Party pilot program launching in Palm Beach County. We’re recruiting Democrats who are away for the summer to help Palm Beach voters re-enroll in Vote-by-Mail through remote phonebanking.

You can make calls from wherever you are using FDP’s Scale to Win dialer. We’ll provide the training, script, target voters, and support — you just bring your time and your commitment to helping Democrats win.

What is Snowbird SWAT?

Snowbird SWAT is a remote voter contact team for Florida Democrats who are temporarily out of state but still want to stay involved in the work at home.

Our first pilot is focused on Palm Beach County, where volunteers will call Democratic voters who need to renew their Vote-by-Mail requests ahead of the 2026 election cycle.

Whether you’re in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, or anywhere else for the summer, this is a simple, high-impact way to help organize Florida voters from wherever you are.

What will I do?

• Call Palm Beach County Democrats who need to re-enroll in Vote-by-Mail

• Use the Scale to Win dialer, which automatically connects you to voters who answer

• You’ll receive training, a clear script, and support during calling shifts

• Your personal phone number is not shown to voters, and we’ll make sure you feel prepared before you start calling

• No experience is required

Why Vote-by-Mail?

Vote-by-Mail is one of the most important tools we have to help Democrats vote consistently and conveniently. Because Florida voters must regularly renew their Vote-by-Mail requests, many Democrats who previously voted by mail need to re-enroll for the 2026 cycle. Snowbird SWAT helps us reach those voters directly and make sure they know how to request their ballot again.
